About Me

My name is Andrew Hoffman and I am 19 years old.  I have been interested in all wildlife since I was very young.  While Steve Irwin, Jeff Corwin, and Mark O'shea fueled my interest in nature, I have to give most of the credit to my parents who took me hiking and canoeing as a child and always encouraged me and tolerated lots of interesting critters coming in and out of our house (me coming back from wading in the muck and mud being one of the most interesting).  Reptiles, amphibians, and birds have always been my biggest interest, but I find all aspects of nature interesting.  I have been interested in wildlife photography since around the time I started high school.  I plan on continuing photography for the rest of my life and hope to someday become a proffesional photographer (although I want my main career to be in research and teaching).  I am currently attending Hanover College and I plan on majoring in Biology (obviously).
